Dr Sarah Hetrick – Clinical Psychologist

DEPRESSION – During this interview Dr Sarah shares with us about depression, the symptoms that are common with depression, and shares how assumptions we create as a child can affect us as adults, especially in terms of they can influence the depressogenic thoughts we have. Dr Sarah resources us with ways to help people who may be experiencing depression in their families or at work.

About Dr Sarah Hetrick

Sarah is clinical psychologist and Associate Professor of Youth Mental Health in the Department of Psychological Medicine, University of Auckland, and an honorary Principal Fellow in the Centre of Youth Mental Health, University of Melbourne with strong collaborative working partnerships with Orygen, The National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health and the Centre for Mental Health in the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne.
